Demam Lagi

My little one demam lagi. Seisi rumah kena batuk-batuk. These few days mmg ramai yang datang visit my parents dan ramai juga yang batuk-batuk. Musim orang balik haji memang biasa macam tu selalunya.

Poor Khalisya asyik demam je, baru je baik demam.

Sempat lagi pose senyum dlm demam demam tu!

Khalisya dah boleh sebut "Kakak", she's referring to her second cousin yang actually sebaya ... physical size je tak sama :)

Doyan Fiesta Langat Style

During today's elongated lunch hour, I followed my colleague to Kampung Jawa, Hulu Langat to pick up the pre ordered door gifts for her niece. We stopped for lunch at a riverside venue called Pohon Bamboo. It has a cozy atmosphere and a nice view of Sungai Pansoon.

Gerai biasa je, we all yang tak biasa dengan view sungai yang tak sampai beberapa meter dekatnye .... 

After lunch, we all headed back to the office and singgah kat gerai durian on the roadside. Kupas sebiji OK, but the second buah tu dissapointing betul. Nasib baik bayar murah je.

We stopped again at a busy roadside somewhere in Batu 9, Cheras. This time, not at all disappointed! Superb. The 4 of us ate 6 biji in 20 mins ... dasat tu.

Encik Hubby was on Selamat Pagi Malaysia, TV1 slot 28 October 2012. Since we do not have PVR, I managed to record the live telecast using my mobile. Itu pun berebut-rebut dengan Khalisya. Ok lah daripada takde lansung.

Chef Jimi (the name that the Lady Host called him) appeared dalam segment Demonstrasi Masakan Sempena AidilAdha bersama Chef Zainal.

Welcome Back Kok Aji

My parents are back from Hajj around 2:00am this morning. Apart from the coughing, they are well in themselves. I'm just so happy that they're safely back and Khalisya seems so extremely excited to see her Kok Aji & Ajah Dede (Khalisya's language for Atok-Kok and Nenek-Dede).

Thanks to friends and families who came to visit. And a million thanks to my gramps and auntie for the dishes they brought for us to enjoy together.

I'm kinda tired as I don't really get enough sleep today but Khalisya slept like a log despite all the noises around her.

The Arabian Lunch Date

It's been raining cats and dogs here in SK lately. Despite the weather, somebody decided to treat us an Arabic cuisine in Sana'a Restaurant, an ordinary looking Yemen & Arabic Restaurant which offers a great taste of good food. I guess better than Saba Restaurant.

The rain pours as we're enjoying our superb grilled chicken. This was the part where we wanted to sing "Rain rain go awak come again another day".

Even with the severely pours, we have to head back to the office.

Aidilfitri Day 2, 2012

Alhamdulillah selamat sampai di Kuantan around 2 pm. Dapat berita yg my BIL tgh critical di ICU HTAA so lepas check in terus he ke hospital. Sayu pulak hati tgk keadaannya.
Almost semua adik beradik Encik Suami on the way kemari setelah dapat berita yg sama. So we all pun sambil beraya sambil ke hospital menjenguk Abg Ngah.

Biskut Raya

Tergerak hati pulak tahun ni nak buat kuih raya sendiri. Keadaan tak berapa mengizinkan untuk borong kuih-kuih tunjuk seperti tahun-tahun lalu. (Hopefully keadaan ini akan reda selepas raya).

 "Baik kau buat je kuih sendiri, tak banyak belanja"... memang betul kata mak, memang tak besar belanjanya ... cuma kena korbankan masa & penat lelah lah sikit.

Alhamdulillah dah empat malam berturut-turut saya berkesempatan membuat kuih ... bertambah juga la serba sedikit koleksi kuih raya yang tak berapa nak ada tu.

Trip to Besut

Outstation ke Besut last week. Since dah bermati-matian menyiapkan kerja untuk trip ni, masing2 dah tak larat nak drive. Nasib baik dpt naik flight. So flight dari KL ke KT lepas tu drive dari KT ke Besut, lebih kurang dalam 1.5 hours. Lepas juga lah rindu pada KT, sebab dapat singgah di Teluk Ketapang untuk SCT (Sotong Celup Tepung) & KLCC(Keropok Lekor Cicah Colek).

East cloud ... memang selalu cantik ...

Payah sungguh nak cari parking kat office sekarang ni. Selagi ada ruang, walaupun seinci, ada je kereta mencelah. Kalau time lunch, bukan sekadar double parking je, tripple parking pun ada.

Rooftop Prince

I've completed this one a day after the final episode was broadcasted in Korea. My motivation for watching this was of course the main actor, Mickey Yoochun. Yoochun's acting has improved from his previous drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The chemistry between the leads, Yoochun and Han Ji-Min were undenieable and the Joseon ducklings was absolutely hillarious. All in all, this historical-fusion-drama was quite entertaining with an interesting storyline. All those who like to watch time-travelling movies/dramas would love this one. As for the ending, it was heartbreaking to learn the truth and they did a really great job wrapping it up.

Wasted Talent

I came across a blog that blogged about a local box maker that ruin her wedding doorgift orders. She also quoted some more complaints from her blog readers about the same box maker. I had the same experience with the same box maker four years ago. I was just lucky that I live somewhere near to Nilai3 where there are lots and lots of other alternative.

This box maker has a website and currently it is still active I guess, his last entry was 6 months ago. He's work is pretty good, custom made chipboard box, with affordable price but such a wasted talent he had since he stood up a lot of his clients and never appologize.

The Pox

My little one got chicken pox.

I've been anticipating for this to happen since the last kenduri we went. Today is the 3rd day after the first spot visible. Fortunately, up till today, she's behaving like she's not sick at all ... alhamdulillah.

The Moon that Embraces the Sun

I've finished watching this historical drama weeks ago. My motivation for watching is the storyline and of course the famous Han Ga In. For me personally, it is the best periodical drama so far for 2012.

Storyline

Makan-Makan for a Friend

It's been a while since the last makan-makan entries. I should have posted a lot of makan-makan-in-the-office-entries since my room is located in front of the main pantry where almost all the makan-makan-celebration took place in the office.

Khalisya's Hospital Visits

Up to this month, Khalisya dah dua kali warded di hospital ... in January di Hospital Pakar An-Nur and in April di Hospital Putrajaya. Both admittance was due to different reasons. Ada one morning around 3am in this month, we all kejarkan Khalisya to ER Hospital Pakar An-Nur due to breathing difficulty. In May jugak, Khalisya kena severe diarrhea for two weeks, berat pun dah turun almost 2 kg. After 3 kali visits to Paed, baru lah ok. Tu pun Dr suggest susu Pediasure untuk Khalisya since she's a picky eater.

So all in all, up to May sahaja, including physio visits, Khalisya's hospital visits dah lebih dari 10 kali.

Kena cari supplement untuk kuatkan antibodi Khalisya neh .....

Rusted Skill

Lately, kena la menggilap semula skill programming saya yang dah karat nih. Dateline makin hampir tapi tenaga MMP dah makin kurang, so MMP antique macam saya ni terpaksa la turun padang sekali. Nasib baik minat tu masih ada, cuma kekaratannya dah agak tebal, ambik masa sikit lah untuk diasah semula.

Single Handed

I fell over nine days ago. All the force went onto my right hand as obviously I didn't want to land on my injured knee. My hand was very painful and I couldn't move my elbow at first. I had it examined by two doctors based on the result of the x-ray. I was told that I fractured my radial head bone (somewhere at the elbow) by the ER doctor who attended my case and right away I was referred to an orthopedic specialist. Only by looking at my x-ray film (not my hand physically) I was told that I didn't just fractured my radial head bone, but also it was dislocated from its original location (which I think it's true since I can feel something was twisted when I fell).

Sebuah Kehilangan ...

My MIL kembali ke rahmatullah jam 7:25am yesterday morning. Semoga rohnya tenang disana dan dicucuri rahmatNYA. Untuk hubby, kuatkan hati, redhakan pemergiannya.

Kesebelas-sebelas adik beradik Encik Suami sempat pulang menatap wajah arwah sebelum dikebumikan. Alhamdulillah.

Warded - New Year in Bed (HPAN Day 4)

It's been four days since Khalisya admitted to HPAN. There's nothing special on New Year's Eve last night since all of us spent our night here in HPAN. Here in Bandar Baru Bangi, bunyi mercun pun takde last night, very calm and quiet, like any other nights.

Dr. Khairul (subs Dr. Arbayah) came to visit this morning and recommended Khalisya to proceed with the suction procedure since the weezing still ada kedengaran and her mucus yang agak pekat untuk dikeluarkan sendiri. 

She went to bed early since kepenatan struggling during neb & suction sessions ... poor little princess.

Catz: Mungkin esok discharge ... yeay!
