Taman Tasik Cempaka

Last weekend sempat bawa Doter jalan-jalan di Taman Tasik Cempaka. Selalu lalu di kawasan  ni tapi tak pernah singgah dan tak tau apa yang ada dalam taman ni.

Taman Tasik Cempaka terletak bersebelahan Kompleks PKNS, McDonalds dan Bangi Sentral. Macam taman-taman riadah yang lain, TTC juga ada jogging track, tasik dan taman permainan kanak-kanak. Kemudahan lain seperti parking dan tandas awam pun disediakan untuk orang ramai. Antara yang menarik di TTC adalah kemudahan menyewa basikal dan remote control cars untuk pengunjung meneroka taman selain berjalan kaki.

Trek laluan 10,000 langkah ... memang sesuai dengan aktiviti harian saya.

Ada beberapa kemudahan untuk menyewa basikal, remote control cars dan skuter. Ada pelbagai jenis basikal untuk pilihan pengunjung. 

Sewaan basikal orang dewasa bermula dengan RM10 untuk setengah jam, basikal kanak-kanak RM10 untuk disewa sehingga 7:00 PM. Sewaan untuk remote control cars adalah RM15 dan skuter RM25 untuk setengah jam.

Since Doter pilih nak naik "4WD", kami ikutkan aje. Pakai seat-belt dulu ... 

...and off we go ... penat juga la menapak ikut 4WD dia ni, ntah berapa kali tawaf sekitar taman ...

My First Pandora

I've been wanting to own a Pandora bracelet for so long but it's just not in my budget. It's somewhere at the top of my wish list, but nowhere in the priority list. I've been admiring it for quite a while now. Every time me and colleagues walked passed the Pandora store, we will stop to look around.

My brother surprised me and Mak yesterday by getting us a bracelet each. Like a dream come true, angan-angan yang jadi kenyataan. Macam tak percaya je. Definitely a big freaking surprised for me! So as of Saturday, 02 March 2013, I'm officially a Pandora owner and am looking forward to adding more charms to the bracelet in the years to come.

I have no idea of what was in the white paper bag since I was so busy entertaining Khalisya and I forgot to read the sign in front of the paper bag.

Like Father Like Doter

I'm not a big fan of motorcycles. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it is the mean of transportation I will avoid. I do not encourage my love ones to ride motorbikes, but both of 'em love it so much. Even my little princess will get excited just to hear the sound of the engine. She recognized the sound of her father's motorbike. She even recognized our Pak Guard's Modenas.

A Solemn Goodbye to My Great-Uncle

Al-Fatihah to our great-uncle, my gramma's brother, who passed away yesterday.

I was at work when I heard the bad news. "TokYin meninggal dunia ...". Mak called to let me know. Her mind was a complete mess as she was in the middle of preparing for today's event at home. Mak said Abah kept a long silence in his car, alone. He took the news quite hard as he's the closest nephew and they look so much alike.

However, the event today must go on despite the bad news. Abah and my bro went to pay the last respect. Me and Mak had to stay home for the event. Semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan dikalangan insan-insan soleh yang diredhai Allah.

Lunch at RedWok

Last Saturday the family had lunch in our favorite halal chinese restaurant, RedWok, Bandar Baru Bangi. It was not the first time we're there. We've been a frequent visitor to this restaurant due the delicious food & open atmosphere. Nothing much to tell about the trip so I'll just photoblog on what's on the menu ....

Chef Jimi in Action

Encik Hubby was on Selamat Pagi Malaysia, TV1 slot 28 October 2012. Since we do not have PVR, I managed to record the live telecast using my mobile. Itu pun berebut-rebut dengan Khalisya. Ok lah daripada takde lansung.

My MIL kembali ke rahmatullah jam 7:25am yesterday morning. Semoga rohnya tenang disana dan dicucuri rahmatNYA. Untuk hubby, kuatkan hati, redhakan pemergiannya.

Kesebelas-sebelas adik beradik Encik Suami sempat pulang menatap wajah arwah sebelum dikebumikan. Alhamdulillah.

Balik Kampung Feb 2011 - Day 3

Early Sunday morning dah bangun packing-packing untuk balik KL. Takut nak bertolak lambat sebab highway for sure akan jam. Before pulang we all ke Peramu untuk breakfast kat satu kedai ni yang aduhai banyaknya food. Since dah banyak food yang dijual, so kena lah makan banyak jenis food jugak kan ...

Usai breakfast, we all teruskan perjalanan pulang. And seperti yang dijangka, ada beberapa tempat yang jammed especially bila dah hampir dengan Plaza Toll. Tiba-tiba sport car we all tu buat hal pulak, bila naik bukit, temperature sama sama naik jugak. So nak tak nak, aircond asyik kena off je la, bagi laluan untuk water pump tu kurangkan kerja untuk mengepam ketika naik bukit. Nasib baik Khalisya tak meragam, she behaved all the way, sampai la kat umah. The trip from Kuantan yang sepatutnya ambil masa around 2.5 hours tu dah jadi 6 hours sebab jammed. We all bertolak around 10:30am and arrived in Bangi around 4.00pm.

Baik betul anak ibu ni, main sorang-sorang and then tidur je along the way. So tak terasa la stress walaupun jammed teruk.

Ni orang dok sebuk jammed, dia dok sebuk merempit. Takde pulak highway troopers yang kejor.

Balik Kampung Feb 2011 - Day 2

Second day, pagi-pagi lagi Khalisya dah bangun siap-siap nak pegi wedding cousinnya Khairul Ain. Before ke wedding location, we all pekena breakfast lempeng kelapa ... pergh! walaupun simple aje dishnya tapi ... ada Ummph! Khalisya pun boleh habis suku keping ... Encik Suami tak usah cerita la, berkeping keping lempeng habis hehe. 

After the wedding, we all relax-relax minum petang kuih muih dan sata yang dibeli di Peramu. Selalunya saya tak gemar sangat sata, tapi yang ni sedap la pulak dan tak meloyakan tekak. Selesai minum, we all gerak ke Beserah Beach, jamu-jamu mata and rehat-rehatkan minda.

 Look how happy she was ... this amoi lealy syiok balik kg wooo. Bak kata both of the Acus, "Balik Kampong No Stless Woo".

This is my niece Khairul Ain and her hubby, semoga bahgia ke anak cucu. Err kalau U guys ada cucu, we all lak ada cicit la hehe. Err now all our cucus (I think we all have more than 10 cucus now) called us Tok Su and Wan Su, esok-esok ada cicit ... mau di panggey apa ya?

This is the first time Khalisya pegi beach. Encik Suami beriya nak introduce the beach and the sea to Khalisya. Khalisya was stunned bila kakinya dilanggar ombak ... sampai meleleh air liur tengok betapa banyaknya air laut, selalunya kolam dalam besen yang dia biasa berendam tu kecik je and air tak banyak.

She's so happy dapat main ombak. Selalunya kalau suruh berdiri, sesaat je dia dah nak duduk. This time around tak nak duduk-duduk sambil kakinya kuis kuis pasir pantai.

Bukan Khalisya je yang seronok. We all pun seronok jalan-jalan kat beach. Tu tiga orang at the bottom corner ... my nieces and SIL tengah investigate belangkas yang terdampar di tepi pantai.

Khalisya masih berdiri tak beralih-alih, so bila we all nak bergambar kena la pegi tempat dia berdiri. Err tu apasal pulak pegi pantai pakai baju kurung tuuuuuuu????

Don't Worry Be Happy

Selalunya around 630pm saya dah bergolek-golek dan benyanyi nyanyi bersama Khalisya, tapi hari ni saya bergerak dari office agak lambat, around 730 and singgah pulak di Azhar Maju menapau apa yang patut untuk seisi rumah. On the way back tu, saya terfikir, alangkah bagusnya bila saya sampai di rumah nanti segala kerja rumah yang tergendala sudah ada yang tolong selesaikan. Macam-macam saya fikir sepanjang perjalanan, kesian Mak kena jaga Khalisya sampai malam ... dirty laundry yang menimbum sedang menunggu untuk dicuci ... kain yang dah dibungkus rapi semalam perlu dilipat dan macam-macam lagi.

Sampai je dirumah, pintu gate telah ada yg bukakan. Khalisya elok dipangku Mak sambil matanya terkebil-kebil mengantok. Kata Mak, dia baru je selesai solat, tadi TK yang jaga Khalisya. Wah! Kemudian saya ke dapur untuk selesaikan dirty laundry saya yg menimbun ... aikk bakul laundry dah kosong, baju dah siap dibasuh. Syukur alhamdulillah, badan yang tadi penat terus bertenaga semula sbb seronok bila apa yang difikirkan tadi jadi kenyataan. Kalau macam ni, bolehlah saya balik lambat selalu :)

Catz: senang hati jek malam ni ...

Shocked

Berderau darah saya bila Abah pagi2 lagi dah bagi tau nak bawa Mak ke Pusat Rawatan Islam Azzahrah sebab separuh badannya kebas. Tak tenang hati nak ke office tadi, tetapi terpaksa saya gagahkan diri jugak ke office hari ini since ada meeting yang perlu saya hadiri pagi tadi. Khalisya saya tinggalkan pada ayahnya along with a longgggg to do list.

Around 10:00 am dapat call dari Abah, dr suspect Mak macam nak kena stroke and since Azzahrah tak ada equipment yang diperlukan untuk scan, case Mak di refer ke KPJ Kajang.  Makin tidak senang hati saya di office, nak balik rumah, kerja pula menimbun tunggu untuk diselesaikan. Alhamdulillah result scan di KPJ takde kesan apa apa darah beku yang boleh menyebabkan stroke. Maybe Mak terlalu letih & masih shocked dengan berita pemergian kakaknya mengadap illahi tempohari. So untuk beberapa hari since Mak Long meninggal dunia last Tuesday, tugas-tugas menjaga Khalisya, TK yang galas sepanjang saya di office. Nasib baik TK cuti 5 hari since sekarang bukan peak season.

Dinner

Tiba-tiba je TK nak masak western dinner utk the whole family. So menu malam ni, Chicken Chop TK's Style lah with lots of salad topped with homemade thousand island, garlic mash potatoe as the side dish and of coz black pepper sos ... semua homemade fresh from TK's kitchen (pinjam Mak's kitchen hehehe).

Family Gathering

My brother decided to belanja the whole clan makan-makan on Aidil Adha. Dah lama hajatnya nak belanja everybody, dari plan nak ke Tupai-Tupai, BBQ kat rumah ... and lastly treat everybody in a small celebration doa selamat kat rumah Atok & Nenek. Not just all the uncles and aunties were invited, jiran-jiran terdekat and rakan-rakan Atok & Nenek dapat sama-sama menjamah hidangan. Tapi takde gambar yang dapat di snap since, camera woman dah sarat & tak berapa larat nak berjalan, asyik duduk kat area yg ada kipas je hehehe.

BBQ

Teramatlah sangat malas untuk update now ni.

Last weekend, ada request for TK's grilled chicken chop. So alang-alang nak grilled ayam, terus je buat BBQ. Antara menu yang ada - grilled chicken chop, grilled beef steak, seafood skewer, grilled corn with butter, frankfurter, potato salad, homemade black pepper and BBQ sauce.

Kiranya macam makan full course western set lah kononnye. Salad, frankfurter and corn as appetizers, pastu makan grilled chicken chop, lepas tu grilled steak pulak, lepas tu dessert, lepas tu ... tersandar!!


Tq so much pada yg bagi hadiah BBQ pit ni masa wedding tu hari. Dah beberapa kali berjasa dah. Dah pernah serve the whole block utk BBQ gathering hari tu.

Return of Andak

Andak came back yesterday. No wonder my eye-lids keep moving lately. It’s a sign. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen them. The whole clan waited since yesterday’s evening and Andak’s flight finally touched down at around 7:15pm. Pity them who waited at the airport since 3:00pm. The flight delayed due to some complications in Heathrow Airport. Congrats to Dr Andak & wife for the completion of their Phd.

She's leaving on a Jet Plane

My cousin left for Cairo this afternoon. Flight GF 0281 was scheduled at 4:15PM. We arrived in KLIA around 12:30PM ... ample time to mingle around and spent more time with her. Everybody (Atuk, Nenek, PakUsu&family, MakTeh&family) waited until she made here way to the gate with the rest of 60 other students. The group was scheduled to stay overnight in Bahrain before flying to Cairo. Bon Voyage Aisyah! Wish you all the best.
