How Time Flies

We're reaching the end of September. Oh my! ... how time flies, regardless whether you have fun or not. But I'm sure having lots of fun.

Last night I joined an iftar gathering organized by Puan Shira (thanks Shira for inviting). Seoul Garden was the venue. It's a Korean Restaurant somewhere in Plaza Pantai just next to federal highway. Seoul Garden offers an all-you-can-eat steamboat and BBQ ramadhan buffet at the price of RM40++. There were so much food for sure, but there's also a catch ... you got to cook your own food! *LOL*. So smokes were all over the place last night ... everybody went back with oily foreheads, smoky clothes and certainly fully loaded stomach. :D

The second week of Ramadhan will end soon and I think I've lost about 5 more kg (+-1) :D I'm having so much fun with the food and yet I lost some kilos, best giler ... I love Ramadhan!

Ramadhan Al-Mubarak 1429

Marhaban ya Ramadhan Al-Mubarak. Disini saya ingin mengambil kesempatan memohon maaf sekiranya ada khilaf dan salah. Selamat menjalankan ibadah berpuasa. Semoga Ramadhan kali ini menjanjikan seribu satu keberkatan buat semua.

Happy Birthday Malaysia

Selamat Menyambut Kemerdekaan yang ke 51 Malaysia.

We had the chance to experience merdeka countdown di Dataran Merdeka ketika PM melaungkan 'Merdeka ... Merdeka ... Merdeka" 7 times. Paling best bila dapat tgk fireworks up close and live. Now I understand the feeling to melepak at Dataran :) Well, I'm not that comfortable with the 'melepak' part sebab duduk merata-rata, but I like the fact that I can see rakyat Malaysia yang berbilang bangsa, agama, gelagat, tak ketinggalan juga fesyen-fesyen pakaian yang diadaptasi dari marikh hehe... pendek kata macam-macam rupa lah. Bukan Malaysian aje yang membanjiri perkarangan Dataran last night, tourist pun ramai.

Sejak-sejak dapat 'lesen besar' ni, berani jugak lah nak keluar malam till 2-3 am in the morning with TK, tu pun dengan izin the clan counsel hehe. Fireworks ended around 12:30am, lepas tu terus gerak to Campbell for our car. Kena redah jam jugak akhirnya. Around 2:00am baru sampai Sunway. Sampai Bangi around 2:30am.


Orang ramai mula membanjiri perkarangan bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad after Isya'. Ramai yang park kereta dekat Campbell utk elakkan jam teruk waktu pulang nanti.

Lagi photo bunga api. Time ni semua orang mendongak ke atas. Since the spark was so near, pedih juga mata bila debris bunga api jatuh ke bawah.

Woops! 2 Months Left

Checked out my wedding countdown earlier today ... there's only 2 months left! The last time I checked I think it was something like 200 days, where did all the time go? OMG there's so much to do ...

Me & TK went for a shopping-mall-hopping looking for our hantaran stuffs. It's kinda hard to find TK's non-alcohol fragrance set, lenguh kaki jalan satu kolumpo. And after lots of visits and pujuk rayu, finally he settled on a cologne set sold by his 'girlfren' *LOL*. His girlfren? Funny story ... to make it short, TK has an admirer and she(or he) happens to be a Nyah ... *LOL* ... "Abang ni manis, baik, tak tinggal solat, bla bla bla ... beruntung akak!" ... Frankly speaking, sekelumit jealousy pun takde dihati ni, rasa nak terguling2 gelak tengok muka TK when he received all the compliments tu ada la *LOL*. Puji punya puji, we end up paying less than what we get ... free stuff situ, free stuff sini ... untung uols! :)))


Haha this photo got nothing to do with the wedding. I had the chance to visit MAHA Exhibition a day before they opened it to the public. The tomatoes looked so voluptous that I had to take a picture of it ehehe

Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Watched the movie on Saturday. Thought of buying tickets for The Dark Knight but I end up buying tickets for this movie. TK had no problem with the movie he said, but I wonder why he slept for almost half of the film? *LOL*

Have ya all seen the movie? Some critics said it's better than Mummy Returns, not as good as The Mummy but still worth a look. The others said that they can think of almost nothing good to say about the film, except that they enjoyed it immensely. Some also said that it is a disappointing three-quel with a badly written script, irritating characters, dodgy CGI work, a miscast Maria Bello and an underused Jet Li.

What about my reviews? Well, it's quite interesting I might say, but only towards the end. I have no idea why they choosed Maria Bello to replace Rachel Weisz as Evelyn O'Connell. I like the previous Evelyn better. I also hate to see Jet Li casting the bad guys role coz he's a kung fu legend in my book. Overall, I would rate it as 3.0/5.0. I'm still wondering why TK dozed off during the movie! Hmm ...

Camno nak Diet?

Rezeki Allah beri tak kira di mana-mana kan? Walaupun dalam keadaan poket terdesak pun ada saje rezeki yang datang especially tang makan-makan. Tribe mates ni memang gemar sesangat makan-makan. Minggu ini saje, dah 2 kali makan free. Dengar-dengar cerita, esok ada lagi makan-makan free hosted by Puang Fifi @ pantry level 1 (betul ke?). Bukan orang berduit aje yang boleh buat makan-makan ni, yang penting hati nak bersedekah, yang sedikit dikongsi bersama, yang banyak dibahagi sama rata. Awal minggu ni pun ada sarapan pagi free nasi lemak, hari ni pulak, birthday Kak Ina, dibawanya pulut kuning berlaukkan rendang minang ... fuh sehingga menjilat siku kesedapannya.

Sebut pasal makan-makan, teringat masa di Terengganu dulu. Almost hari-hari ada makan-makan. Waktu tu pun poket terdesak juga, but still masing-masing sempat luangkan masa untuk bersama-sama pergi makan-makan. Tak kiralah di mana tempatnya, dari Teluk Ketapang hinggalah ke Mok Ngoh, agenda makan-makan tak pernah tinggal dari list harian.

Bila di flip flipkan album-album lama, rupanya banyak betul sesi makan-makan, layan senyum sorang-sorang bila tgk.

Lunch Entry

Lambat betul sampai office hari ni. Masuk office je, lengang takde orang, rupanya semuanya belum sampai ... gara-gara road block semua orang terpaksa meredah kesesakkan berbatu-batu jauhnya. Perjalanan dari Bangi ke Seri Kembangan yang sepatutnya memakan masa hanya 15 minit, jadi 45 minit, tu pun cilok mencilok & ikut route short cut.

Exit from toll UPM, kereta dah start sangkut, tersengguk-sengguk. Ingatkan ada road bloack untuk mencari pembayar saman lalu lintas yang belum dilunaskan, cuak gak! (saman speeding lom bayar daa ... hehe).


Haaa ni pun sebenarnya pasal kesesakan lalu lintas jugak ni, kalau tak takkan gambar ni dapat diambil dari jarak yang agak dekat. Photo taken from forwarded email yang tak pasti siapa pengirim asalnya. Glamor dah lori ni ... :)

I'm Losing It

I've been a bit stressed out lately. I have piles of work to do and yet I don't know where to begin. I have a few important details to plan, but I'm not in the right condition to do it. I need to buy some things, but I'm seriously broke. The wedding is just in a few months, and I still have a lot to plan. Anyway thanks to those who help me with ideas (my FOC wedding planner). Err did I mention wedding? *LOL*

It's been so quiet here ...

Finally, few months of silence ended! I was so busy trying to live my life to the fullest, gulping some air whenever I can to survive.

Yeah it's been so quiet lately, not just in this blog, but also back at the tribal headquarters. The tribe head count is getting lesser and lesser everyday. Seems like a better opportunity is the best solution for some of 'em.

Had the chance to visit GSC Signatures at The Gardens today. Bayar lebih sikit je for a superb movie-watching experience. Birthday boy's wish nak tgk The Ironman, since midvalley's tickets were fully booked so we all lari pi Gardens ... sib baik ada & tak perlu beratur panjang pun :)

Zipper

Back from lunch, as usual we had a rest-before-climbing-3rd-floor-discussion at the lobby. A colleague of mine with a backpack on his shoulder wearing his white shirt and black pants walked into the lobby, putting on his necktie, getting ready for a meeting outside.

All four of us (all ladies) sat at the couch, doing what we're doing earlier, checking out the newspaper. One of us suddenly greeted my colleague, ...

"Bro, zip terbukak!"

Her sudden remark made him extremely shocked and tried to cover his fly. All the three ladies were in shocked as well. It was surely an awkward moment! *LOL*

"Bukan zip tu, zip backpack la!", she continued. Obviously, his backpack was wide open.

Laaaa ... buat terkezut je! Kesian bro, sure terkezut giler ... kui kui kui.

So morale of the story, if you have zipper issues, try to keep it as quiet as you can so that no one will be shocked and embarrassed ... tak kiralah zip seluar or zip bag hehehe.

Work Craze

Huhu dah bersawang.

I've been very very very busy lately, tak sempat nak update any entry. My streamyx is back to normal now, but I've yet to find a peaceful time to update an entry ... tatau la biler, soon I hope. To my readers, sabar menanti kay.

Jumper

I was dying to see Jumper since it started on Feb 14^th. Lama dah tak tengok movie ni. Last weekend I had the chance to watch it at GSC Midvalley. We all tong-tong beli tickets (asyik nak kena justify why time2 gini still mampu tgk wayang! *LOL*).

It was quite packed at the time we queued for tickets. So after Asar, we went straight to the F&B counter for some munchies. The show was supposed to start at 5:30pm, but we went in 10 minutes earlier. It’s not that hard to find our seats since the audience were lesser than what we expected. We settled into our seats and start digging in our munchies. Movie belum mula, popcorn dah tinggal half *LOL*

And then the show started …

As soon as the montage played, terkezut tgk ada some Chinese aplhabets yang for sure we all tak faham what it meant. Rasa macam pelik ... takpe relax ... tunggu lagi. Then, title of the movie popped out ... CJ7! Ceh! confirm salah cinema! So dengan muka tak malu, we all senyap-senyap angkat kaki ke cinema sebelah. Nasib baik Jumper belum start.

So morale of the story, check dulu ticket jgn main redah aje. Tak pasal2 jadi Jumper sebelum dapat tgk movie Jumper *LOL*

Punya lah besar no 1 tu, tu pun boleh salah panggung ... isk

CC to The Rescue

It's so hard for me not to have internet connection at home. Now I had to depend on Cyber Cafe for internet. I'm tired of getting Streamyx/TMPoint feedback on my connection. I'm planning to discontinue their services and switch to any portable wireless broadband. Any suggestion of which services to choose?

I love this colorful chairs. I had a meeting at MDec Innovation Centre somewhere in Cyberjaya last Friday, so this photo was taken after the meeting. It's not just colorful and pretty, but also very comfortable to sit on.

Abandoned

I've abandoned this blog for quite sometimes. I doubt any of my readers are still checking in since my last entry (ada readers ke blog aku ni?). Anyway, thanks to those who still have the time to drop by.

I've been transfered back to KL for two months now, but I still have no time to update any entry. All the work, the tiring, the reunions, new activities, my pocket misery plus the problem Streamyx had given me have been pushing my energy level down below. I've been writing a lot offline, but by the time I sat in front of a PC in a CC, I'll be very lazy to update.

So since this is my first entry for the year, and I've missed a lot of entries, I'll just photoblog for my readers (I still doubt I still have any ... *LOL*) Abandoned ... but not forgotten :)
